DescriptionLetter written by E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard. He sdays that everyone at the Royal Academy Schools are keen to work on their paintings and do not seem to want a day off for sketching. He says that he had been playing tennis that afternoon and notes how stunning the garden looked. He says he wishes he could send flowers from the garden to Florence. He continues to say that the morning before, Mrs Walter Salmond and Connor visited. Connor went with Swish to the studios and E H Shepard sat with Mrs Salmond. He says that he will soon begin a portrait of Mrs Salmond and he will then arrange a tea party so that Florence can meet her. He shows concern that something appeared to be troubling Florence. He also notes that he will be going to the river on Tuesday if it is fine so that he can begin his Turner. Also he notes that Davis lost his mother when she died suddenly while he was in Wales.
