TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date17 May 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionEHS declares it is their birthday today - "we've been out a year it seems about 12, doesn't it". He has not been to the O.P. for a couple of days. He has received his Pass Book and writes about what money they have. Mrs Hooper has sent a parcel of shirts and socks for the men. He is going to give them to the signalers as they have to be out in all weathers. He is currently struggling with a claim form, but with the pass book he should be able to manage it. He went across to the neighbours last night - they are engaged in writing to 6 actresses asking for mascots for their 6 guns - "I made some suggestions for the letters!". He had previously sent them an indecent drawing and once again asks his wife for a drawing.
