TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date18 May 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionEHS is still struggling, like his wife has done, with the claim form (to prove reduced income). He thinks it would be best to just work on a few more skecthes and not waste time filling in the form. He is off to the O.P. shortly. He and Hambly dined with next door last night and met two men from the Corps. They had hare for dinner. He hope they get compensation for the clothes they lost in the fire - a lot of men are putting in claims. He wishes he could see all the family buzzing along on their tricycles - "Mary must be a sight". He asks if her legs are getting nice and long and whether Baba is still on his tonic.
