Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionPossibly posted with EHS/C/9/21/17. Embossed paper. It is early and EHS has his Burberry over his pyjamas as they have been shooting hard since before daylight. He has received a parcel of clothes, pyjamas, sweets, undies. Pips parcel also arrived, full of asparagus which they had for lunch. Clarke has just appeared with his shaving tackle. EHS writes about their accounts again, he is expecting pay from Cox. He thanks his wife for the pansies and wishes he could lie in their garden. Garratt may be coming back soon - EHS would be glad. Ricardo is likely to be away a longish time with his arm. He mentions being attached to a new Colonel who is a splendid fellow with a sense of humour. He has written to Pip.
