TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date24 May 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionEHS mentions that it must have been a fright about the house and his wife's refusal to be turned out.He is glad she managed to cheer up Nora and Evie. He has had an interesting time at the O.P, and had a yarn with the Deputy Officer who told him 3 boche came across in the early hours and gave themselves up, being "absolutely done"; this is continually happening. EHS tells a story of "two of our wounded jocks" who they helped by giving them lime juice and cigarettes before they went to the ambulance, where they were treated so well.
