TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date5 May 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionCommiserates with FCS about her "little picture" but is pleased she went shopping purchasing a hat for Mary, as well as "the gloves, stockings etc and as for the undies, perhaps I might have a litte sketch of them?" He describes the day before as being "hotter than ever .. the dust blinding" spending "most of the day at the group, doing aeroplane photos etc for the Colonel he's a nice old boy, but an awful fusser, & is given to sketching!" EHS has been putting him off from seeing his sketch book as "I know he'd be shocked at some of the contents." Asks if FCS saw anyone at Walkers. Says he had dinner "with our next battery" that "Old Birchenough is being trotted out to the OP by Garrett" and that "Bennet is getting forms for us to claim for our lost kit." Adds that FCS and Grahams letter has "just come".
