He is glad Aunt F. has stumped up for Baba's suit. EHS is reading a book and has bought a pocket dictionary in order to improve his French. He asks his wife not to go to town on a fine day, but to choose one when there is a high wind as there would be less chance of a raid. He also asks her to tell him all about the play and how many danced. |
