TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date20 Jul 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionEHS is at the O.P and describes the "lordly" breakfast he has had. He asks if the photo of pinkernis has been taken yet and wonders if Peter has been home on leave yet. Hambly goes off tomorrow but the work won't be too hard as Garrett is back. He has received 3 letters and 1 from Graham, who has a "marvellous method of expressing much in about 2 words". He is sorry to hear that Sara is bad again and suggests getting a decent girl for her. He has received more mail, it is a blow about the photos. He is going to write to Phil to thank him for doing the hedge and asks if there is any sign of Mollie having a little G. The original officer of the battery, Woodward, came to visit and took EHS to his quarters.
