TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date23 Jul 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionEHS writes that they are all incredibly busy, he and Hughes managed a quick dinner but then had to go out again. He mentions the maid that his wife is trying to find, having found one that is now booked. He apologises for the postcards but it's "impossible to write sometimes". Hambly is in Bristol, and then is going to Ireland. EHS is going to try to get off all the tax thing today and send back the pass book. He has got Cox's cheque book. He urges his wife to be careful going into town and to "hug the tube, ready to bolt in at once". He remarks on all the things Baba needs and that he likes to think he is to have a good start off.
