TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date25 Jul 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionEHS writes that he is excited about someone being only 2 miles away - he is to visit him this afternoon. He is relieved his wife had a quiet time in town. He writes how they have decorated the battery, in order to keep it hidden. Old Charles and Hey have had a "furious disagreement", they are no longer on speaking terms. EHS is amused that Charles with his college education ("as he is always reminding us") is no match with his wits. Morton is due back in a few days although technically they have full numbers; Garratt is going to try to wangle him back in though.
