TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date3 Jul 1917
Extent2 papers, 1 envelope
DescriptionWritten on graph paper. EHS is writing whilst waiting for Hambly to relieve him so he can go to bed. They have built a place close alongside, with a curved iron roof (includes fuller description). He and Hambly will be living there and the other half of the battery will not be far off. Hughes and Hey will run that, and Powell will "blow about between the two". EHS received a nice letter with a sweet pea inside. Eleanor Stewart was coming to tea, he mentions his wife going to Guildford a lot and asks if she goes to Bramley. He expects Monty can "flaunt it a bit in the High St. now that she's got a little captain all of her own"
