Title | Letter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard |
Date | 14 Aug 1917 |
Extent | 2 papers (11a), 2 cards (11b) |
Description | Includes 2 saucy postcards. EHS has been polishing his boots as a general is on the way to see them. Morton has left them as they were one officer over strength. He wishes they had taken Hey and Charles instead. They are now short handed as Hambly is still convalescing. He loves hearing about Chideock. He almost wishes she were there alone with Syb though the kiddies will love it when Fred turns up. He writes he would probably shock Pip by insisting everyone wears their bathing costumes always. |
