TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date20 Aug 1917
Extent3 papers
DescriptionEHS has received the letter about the mutton not turning up; he asks whether they have their cycles as Graham could then be useful. He asks how his wife and Pip are getting on; he expects they are settled with Sara by now. He wants his wife to get a woman to come and help Sara so his wife can rest. He wants Hambly to get fit as none of the men can go till he does. EHS thinks he might get leave before Charles as Garratt pointed out Charles, having been out for 2 months, doesn't need it as much as others. Charles looks after the ammunition with the ammunition corporal; they look like a couple of old crows. The "hun" is telling lies about failures and losses on their part.
