TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date12 Aug 1917
Extent3 papers
DescriptionEHS writes that he wishes he had his wife's address in Chideock where she is staying so letters don't take so long to get to her. He hadn't realised she was going through Exeter, and mentions her going through Shaftesbury and Sherborne where they stayed one night on their way to Cornwall. He writes that she won't be far from Weymouth and that Baba would rather like it; he recommends "The Trocaders" on the main street near Boots. There are some famous actresses that stay there. He has received a pair of socks form Aunt Fanny. He will be able to send his wife some more money at the end of the month. A kitten has been visiting the mess, a "very friendly little chap".
