DescriptionE H Shepard writes that he has got such a nice letter from Baba. He writes that Baba seems quite cheerful now and he likes the way he spoke about the bully. Shepard says that he will probably be landing on his first fight soon, and he hopes that he remembers the advice from Shepard that if he was bullied he should hit the boy fair and square on the nose as hard as he could.

Shepard says that he met a Canadian major that morning who is very keen on old furniture, pictures and china and it was a treat for him to talk about it.

Shepard hopes that Florence's throat is a lot better and that she is not feeling too weak. He says that he has found a little aluminium ring which should fit Mary and he will send it on to her. He says that his cold is rapidly going but he thinks his teeth need seeing to
