TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date23 October 1917
Extent2 papers, 1 envelope
DescriptionE H Shepard writes that he has been to the OP again and when he arrived back at the dug out he sat down to read Punch. He says that it was a lovely evening then he walked home in the dusk and he stopped and made a little sketch at a ruined farm. He says that the new Sub, Reeves, comes from Suffolks and knows all of their part awfully well. Shepard writes that it is good about the zeppelins, and he can't help feeling that they never meant to return to Germany. He tells Florence that no news from Frog is good news, and they must try and get him back for a night when he is home on leave
