TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date4 November 1917
Extent1 paper, 1 envelope
DescriptionE H Shepard writes that he is still waiting and he feels 'absolutely wild' and he is angry at Garratt as he didn't make much effort. He says that if he could get the colonel alone, he would push it through as he knows that it is overdue. He says that he received two letters from Florence to say that she was ready for his leave and it made him sick to think how she will have to wait a bit longer. He promises that he has done all he can and they must simply wait. Shepard says that it is no good thinking how much leave other people get because the heavy gunners are the worst treated in this respect and it is a shame as they hardly ever get any rest like the other troops
