DescriptionE H Shepard writes that he has just made a design for the new hut and they are starting to construct it. He writes that there is room for a decent size mess and a little sleeping room. They have found a place up in the hill side among the pines and they are also blasting out a dug out up there. Shepard says that they felled a big pine with dynamite and it was most exciting. He writes 'How Baba would love it all, wouldn't he, specially when the bits of rock were hustling down'

Shepard writes that he is sorry to hear about the rug, and tells Florence to spend a little more an get a carpet. He is pleased that the chickens laid six eggs and they ought to go on laying well
