TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date1 October 1918
Extent2 papers, 1 envelope
DescriptionE H Shepard writes that he and Johnson took the motorboat for the whole day and travelled across the lake to explore a town. He writes that it is his last day and he is off back to the battery the following day. He says that it is more good news that Bulgaria are 'shouting for an armistice' and he wonders if it could happen by Christmas. Lots of people are saying so but he thinks that it is too much to hope for
