| Description | One notebook and several loose sheets relating to a number of historical dances. The inside cover states 'P. & J. Holt, Gate House, Northwood, Middlesex. The book contains notes for a series of historical dances presented in charts including symbols and floorplans.A booklet entitled 'Rigadoon Royal' has been enclosed within the booklet containing a printed and a handwritten music score, both have been annotated stating 'Nellie Chaplin's ancient Dance Music and 'The Rigadoone [sic] composed by Isaac, Feuillet 1711'.
Several pages of notes/floorplans were enclosed at the front of the book including two pages of floorplans; two pages of rough dance notes in a chart; notes on boy's steps; short minuet boy notes; Bourrée; one untitled chart of rough notes; fourteen pages of untitled text; seven pages of notes/definitions of symbols.
