DescriptionSix punch baubles to accompany the seven mops - made by June Nightingale as indicated on the box label (the label also indicates that there are six baubles and six mops).

The baubles are punch head figurines made from felt and hand stitched, they have a pleated crepe collar and have eyebrows, eyes and lips painted on to them as well as some blush on the cheeks. They are fixed to a wooden stick which is numbered at the base (from 1-6) and each has a different coloured jester type hat:

Blue with a yellow trim
Yellow with a brown trim
Red with a beige trim
Dark blue with a light blue trim
Peach with a bottle green trim
Green with a purple trim

The eyes for each punch head match one of the colours in their hat.

Corresponding items include a music score by Bach, Children's Songs and another by Johnson, Punch and Judy. Anita Heyworth mentions the dance in her card list of memorable dances in which she writes that Number 6 is Mr Punch Himself, Number 7 is for Judy at work and Number 2 is for the Punch and Judy quarrel.
