In Anita Heyworth's list of memorable dances the first performance is given as 9 and 10 January 1931 at the Lesser Free Trade Hall Manchester. However, the first time it appears in a programme in the collection is on 24 July 1930 at the Rudolf Steiner Hall.

The costume consists of large and small dresses and scarves.
