| Description | Viewed from above, looking down on the outside of the Lecture Theatre Block. Much of the paved walkway has been covered with paving slabs (in the centre of the photo) and the section immediately below the photographer is unlaid and is being worked on. This section is covered in earth and piles of bricks and one man is working shovelling earth into a wheelbarrow. Another man is also shovelling on the lower ground beneath that. Three men in white shirts and dark trousers are walking away from the camera on the paved section. Near them is another wheelbarrow with planks of wood piled on it. The buildings surrounding the walkway area look largely complete, including windows. Many of the windows in the two buildings on the left, are open. A small buggy/ open topped vehicle is visible in the section of unfinished walkway. On the roof of the building on the right are five paving slabs, four of which are propped up in an L formation and another is lying flat next to these. Cardboard mounted photograph |
