DescriptionIn the immediate foreground are three mounds of earth/ bricks with other long scraps of construction materials on the right hand side of these. Directly behind these, is a road which runs across the photo, right to left and also has a branch crossing it which leads off towards the buildings under construction in the centre of the photo. On the right hand side, parked on the road, is a small van/ minibus and in a ditch on the left hand side of the road, a man is working. Another ditch runs alongside the road which moves off towards the buildings in the background and on the left of this is a path where a worker is walking towards some temporary white wooden huts/ cabins. Behind the cabins, are piles of scaffoling rods. In the centre but on the right of the road is a large muddy space with some short brick structures within it. Further back are some university buildings which are still under construction - some of the walls of the first levels are visible. Behind these, are two cranes - a larger one on the left (with its arm pointing into the left/ central area of photo space), and a shorter one (with its arm pointing up). On either side of the cranes, are two more university buildings which are slightly further on in their construction and have more than one level. On the higher ground on the far left, Guildford Cathedral stands. There are two large, bare branched trees slightly back but at either end of the white huts.
