DescriptionPhoto of the outside of Senate House, at the base looking up at the floors above. The lower wall of Senate House extends up on the right of the photo where two men are working near the corner of a window gap. One is wearing a hat, smoking a cigarette and leaning with one arm extended, on the wall. He is watching the other man who is using a filling gun in the corner of the window space. Just below these two men is a deep ditch with part of the foundations visible and a pipe bridging the space a little way from this. Behind the ditch is a pile of wooden slatted boards and further behind this, another worker can be seen on a ladder, working on the same wall as the other two but further down. In the foreground a string has been hung which has small plastic rectangles hanging from it. In the background, a muddy bank extends upwards and a crane arm can be seen poking into the photo from the left.
