DescriptionPhoto looks out from a height (from a nearby building) onto various university buildings at differing stages of development. In the foreground, below the building where the photographer is, there is a muddy bank which rises towards the right hand side - it has a couple of curved arcs dug into it and between these is a path laid down in slabs. On the left are two parked trucks, one in front of the other, which have large loads of bricks stacked up on the backs. A worker is on the truck in front with his arm out at a cage which is suspended from a crane arm. On the right of the two trucks are two large stacks of bricks and then a bank leading to another section with more buildings under construction. The first of these buildings has the initial level of bricks almost laid and a layer of flooring with more stacks of bricks dotted on top. Two men are on top this level looking towards a crane stationed at the back of it. On the other side of the crane is another building at a similar stage though higher scaffolding around it and again men working atop it. Rising above both of these lower level buildings is another, taller building with its fifth level under construction and a tall bare branched tree is poking out above this. There is a further crane visible behind the buildings under construction in this section and a concrete lorry parked on the left. In the back of the site on the left, a thick area of trees sits between the site and town view in the background. On the far right hand side, the end of Guildford Cathedral is visible.
