Here you can search the catalogue of the personal papers of Ernest Howard Shepard (1879-1976), one of the 20th century’s greatest black and white illustrators in the Victorian tradition, best known for his portrayal of characters in The Wind in the Willows and Winnie-the-Pooh and a significant figure in book illustration. The catalogue lists over 4000 items, including artwork, business diaries, sketchbooks, manuscripts, and correspondence.
