Most of the volume contains minutes of the Council's standing committees and sub-committees. These include: the Social Committee, later the Social and General Purposes Committee; the Cultural and Current Affairs Committee (abbreviated CACAC); the Sports and Athletic Committee; and the Committee on Air Raid Precautions. The minutes of the Representative Council itself do not start until 1944 and then occur at very infrequent intervals until 1947. Also included in the volume is a record of a general meeting of the Students Union, held 16 Oct 1944 (fol. 34). |
