Extent | 1 drawing |
Description | Pencil, ink, and watercolour drawing of a woman wearing a yellow and brown spotted bandeau top and long, translucent, yellow and brown spotted skirt and a purple headscarf. She is standing on the ball of her right foot with her left leg raised and pointed; her left arm is raised across her eyes. This was found in a letter to Shepard from Florence Chaplin dated 12 February [1918]: "Here's a little drawing you did for Mont [EHS's pet name for her] + which I thought you might like to see again to remind you of Monts yellowy little body -- it does seem a long time since I sat for that doesn't it." |
