| Description | An alphabetical card index to Madge Atkinson's dances put together by Anita Heyworth for the National Resource Centre for Dance to accompany the donation of Natural Movement material.
A note from Heyworth reads:
'So far - these cards give details of the more important dances choreographed by Madge Atkinson. As one of her dancers they are the dances in my memory as outstanding in her performances. Up to now, I have not referred to any programmes - and my task ahead is to do this, when I shall find many more dances, although not so important. My memory is all of those dances which were outstanding. I shall now endeavour - by reference to all the programmes - to give the dates of the performances of these dances. If I am unable to complete this task others will be able to do the necessary research among the programmes. In addition to all the dances performed at theatres and halls - MA composed many simple class dances for amateur pupils of all ages from babies - 4 years to adult evening recreative classes and also for use in schools.'
