The majority of photographs are of London College of Dance and Drama students and many of the photographs have been taken in the grounds of the college. Many photographs include Madge Atkinson, Anita Heyworth, Grace Cone and other members of London College staff. Other photographs feature the buildings and grounds alone.
A note has been placed within the first page of the album relating to the two photographs on the first page. The note states:
'Rawdon Hall, Holyport, Maidenhead, Berkshire. The first home of London College. Summer 1945.' It names those in the photograph including Atkinson, Heyworth, Cone and eight students.
The loose photograph is of the students and faculty on Diploma Day 1985, including Guest Speaker, Peter Brinson. |
