Description | Photographs originally belonging to Susan Mitchell-Smith documenting Diploma Days throughout the sixties, seventies and early eighties. Each photograph includes a handwritten note on the verso (including the date), some of the notes are in Anita Heyworth's writing. Several of the photographs were taken by Jack Blake Photography, 27 Melrose Avenue, London and bear Blake's stamp on the verso.
The images vary in size, the largest being approximately 8.5 x 6.5 inches. The colour photograph of Anita Heyworth, Phrosso Pfister and Nada Haggard is encased in a presentation envelope. The black and white images include group photographs, guest speakers including Mr. J Allen and Robin Howard, Madge Atkinson with students and their awards. One image is of students performing "Mummers" (Summer 1973) and another of Claire Frisby in 1970. Heyworth and Pfister feature in many of the photographs.
