Description | One envelope originally addressed to Anita Heyworth with a handwritten note stating 'Photos taken for Prospectus-Summer 1969 and 1967-also Summer Term 1973'. The envelope contains a set of photographs which were enclosed with a note indicating they were taken in 1969 for the prospectus and belong to Anita Heyworth (ten prints), another set dated 1967 (17 prints) with a note 'taken for prospectus, 6 Hamilton Place W.1'. Another set dated 1972 (four prints) (including a typed list of those in the photograph). All are approximately 8.5 x 6.5 inches.
The images are mainly taken of groups of dancers in the studio, the positions are posed for the camera. Many also of the students in the library. The images from 1972 are of third year students on Diploma Days.
A final set of 11 photographs are 6.5 x 4.5 (one is a colour print), some of these images have notes on the verso and are of student groups on various Diploma Days, in the studio and at award presentations; also images of the faculty.
Some photographs are stamped Jack Blake, 27 Melrose Avenue, London, NW2 and others Artricia Photographs Ltd. Avenue Parade, Ridge Avenue, Winchmore Hill'. |
