Description | The Madge Atkinson Method of Natural Movement was introduced to South Africa in 1937 by Nancy Watson-Morris. 1938 was the year Madge Atkinson travelled to Capetown to visit the Watson-Morris School and to give lecture-demonstrations on her method. This performance took place in Capetown after Nancy Watson-Morris and Ren Stodel had been on a journey throughout Europe in 1937.
The programme includes advertisements, pictures and a diary from the European tour, a dance list, summary of important events, photographs and biographies of principals and Madge Atkinson, and of Ballroom and Natural Movement staff of the school.
