| Description | Six dresses with ragged hems made from either linen or raw silk. The colours are varied:
Two are a mixture of blue, dark turquoise, purple and bright pink.
Two are a mixture of yellows, oranges and reds with a mottled effect of green and black smudges.
Two are a mixture of green colours with a tie dyed effect.
The purple dresses have very ragged hems and sleeves, and a round neck that has a split at the side and hook and eye fastenings
The yellow/red dresses have very ragged hems also with ragged sleeves and long strips of fabric attached to the sleeves. They also have separate shoulder covers that are orange and red with black smudges, they are V shaped with a hook and eye fastening at the top. Dimensions are: 540 x 390mm and 390 x 330mm.
The green dresses have very ragged hems and no sleeves apart from strips of fabric with elastic on the underside that presumably attached to the dancers' arms.
Each dress matches a pair of tights and either one cloth cap or a cloth cap and a mask. |
