DescriptionFabric squares/pieces dyed in similar way to the mist dresses worn for Peer Gynt.
Thin cotton/muslin pieces in different colours. Some have handsewn edges.
13 x blues/pinks with black patches in a soft muslin (one of these has the name label M Hamer on)
1 x large piece of plain mauve cotton
7 x blue/white fabric, slightly coarser then the other muslin
3 x white/blue fabric
1 x ring of elastic - possible to wear round a headscarf.
There are no photographs of the Peer Gynt costume so it is assumed these pieces of fabric were worn as headscarves or used as scarves for the dance.
