| Description | Leotard type garments for use in the Sigh of Autumn, (in the same fashion as those used for La Vida Breve NM/S/14/2). Referred to as leaf dresses on the original box.
With elastic straps (some are missing) the garments are made from crinkled cotton and dyed in Autumnal colours. They are elasticated round the top of the legs. All edges are hemmed. The colours are similar to those in the silk scarves NM/S/3/3: Oranges, browns, greens, blues, reds and pinks; one of them is burnt orange all over. The garments were originally stored tied in knots/twisted to keep their crinkled appearance. Several have been untwisted for packaging. |
