Administrative History | The first meeting of the Estimates Sub-Committee was held on 29 February 1972. The Sub-Committee was responsible for the submission of draft financial estimates to the Senate,through the Senate Executive Committee, and to the Council, through the Finance and General Purposes Committee. The Sub-Committee was also responsible for approving the filling of vacancies.The Vice-Chancellor was Chairman and membership was composed of three Academic Deans.
