| Description | The lists took the form of small booklets which initially carried the results of the Autumn Term examinations and later of both the Autumn Term and Summer examinations. These were separately published in December and in July or August for what was known as the Day Technical College. The records are incomplete. During the 1920s it would appear that the custom of publishing results of Autumn term examinations was ended as no records of these exist after that date.
The earlier lists between 1908 and 1911 have a far more detailed format giving the names of individuals, percentage marks for examination and term work and the position of each student relative to others in the class. The later lists record whether the result was 1st, 2nd or 3rd class. They also record failures and those absent from the examination. In all cases the individual lists are arranged in order of academic department. |
