Description | Taken from the balcony of a building on the right of the Lecture Blocks. The blocks have scaffolding around them and workers on the top level of the right hand section. Behind the first two sections of the blocks, just below centre of the photo, is a sloping surface with a collection of various building materials stacked up in piles on it. It also has a strip of metal along the top edge of the inclined surface and this strip has many metal rods protruding from it at an angle of approximately 60°. Two cranes can be seen, the second almost central in the photograph. On the right of the photo are two more buildings, which look almost complete - the first of these has sandbags piled on the roof. Behind the building area is a sloping grass space which has trees around the edges near the top and bottom of the hill. Another building, still under construction, is on the left hand side of the photo and a road runs between the Lecture Blocks construction area and this other building. Two groups of housing are visible: behind the grassy open space and on a hill to the right hand side of the photo. Cardboard mounted photograph |
