Description | Photograph taken from vantage point just above the level of the nearest building under construction, looking down on these blocks and the broader view downhill. The brick building in the foreground has two storeys done and three men are working on the third level - one of the men is laying bricks. Scaffolding is up around the building and a section of scaffolding also stands upright on the left of it. Gaps for the windows are left open and a couple of timber frames are propped on the higher level against the wall/ scaffolding. Piles of bricks are stacked intermittently on the top left of the scaffolding. Much of the foreground below the building is in shade though sunshine is visible on a road travelling past the building on the left. On the other side of this road from the building are some white temporary wooden huts/ cabins with some stacks of breezeblocks outside them. Behind the building is an open muddy space with mounds of earth and some trees within it. Power cables and posts are also dotted through this space and run behind the row of huts/ cabins on the left. Another row of white huts/ cabins sits uphill on the right hand side of the blocks under construction, and just before the border fence (small posts with wire connecting them)/ tree lined boundary with the field behind. Many more trees can be seen in the background along with some housing and fields though the background is misty/ foggy and not so clear. |
