Extent | 1 black and white photograph |

Description | Photo taken from atop a university building, looking across at the lecture theatre block in the direction of Senate House. The buildings in the centre have most of their outer structure complete and much of the sloping covered walkways are complete with the occasional panel missing. Small slatted vents are visible in three of the blocks' outside walls. The windows in the lower left hand block have not been put in (though the frames have). On the right of the photo Senate House is visible with some scaffolding up around it. On the left poking above the lecture theatre block is another tall building still under construction and with scaffolding around it. In the background on the left hand side, Guildford Cathedral can be seen with a tower crane sticking up in front of it, its arm/ jib pointing to the left. In the background on the right hand side, a big open grassy field is visible, with trees lining the edge. |
