| Description | In the centre of the photo, slightly to the right, is Senate House which stands taller than any other objects in the photo. There is a section of scaffolding against the right hand side of Senate House. In the foreground is the end of the road which runs alongside Senate House (and also has a branch snaking off to the left of it too). Immediately in front of the photographer is a large Ford truck with 'DRAGON PLANT HIRE LTD' across the front (registration 0PF 62E); under the company name there is a pair of eyes which have been painted on to the cab. There is a large mound of earth loaded up in the back section and the driver is visible in the cab. Another site worker is walking at the front of the truck. Behind the truck, the shadow of a large bush shows on the ground and a small car is parked up. On the right of this road and the vehicles on it, is a curved black wall with the beginnings of a brick wall started against this. Inside the section cut off by the wall, there is a levelled area which has been partly concreted over and which contains many large stacks of bricks and some other random construction materials. There is a stone table strcuture in this section also. On the left of Senate House is a construction area with two small cranes in and another large piece of machinery. Behind this, are some large, decidous trees. On the right of Senate House, part of Guildford Cathedral can be seen. |
