| Description | The audio category of the core collection consists mainly of off-air, commercial and on-campus recordings but also contains oral histories and lectures.
The majority of the recordings are made on audio cassettes and compact discs, however some of the earlier recordings are on vinyl records and open reel tapes.
The audio collection contains numerous interviews on dance-related subjects and discussions of choreographers, companies and dance works. As well as analytical and historical oral recordings the collection also contains a variety of examples of music for dance and suggestions for dance workshops.
