Description | Founded in 1980, the work of the company is based on the techniques of Erick Hawkins. Choreographer, Mark Lintern Harris, was the major practitioner of this technique in the UK in 1987. One letter of invitation and one press release with programme consisting of, inter alia, 'Bead of Blood [1984/5]' which is a piece based on aspects of the Gormenghast trilogy by Mervyn Peake. It includes a series of ritual and private dances, and 'New Work ' (working title, Spring Moon - Melting Snow), drawing on the influence of Japanese Haiku and Elizabethan poetry. |
