DescriptionOrganised by Susan Crow and Jennifer Jackson, the Ballet into the Twenty First Century choreographic course, Classical and Contemporary, was for graduating ballet students from professional schools. The course took place 12-14 August 1997 at the Royal Festival Hall (London), as part of Blitz '97. The file contains correspondence with and brief biographies of Jo Chandler and Glyn Perrin, who led workshops for the students; Richard Alston and Graham McFee, who lectured at the guided viewing session; and Sam Jacobs and Clive Saul of F.A.T. (Fashion Architecture Taste) and Terry Braun, the panelists of the seminar 'Contemporary Space for Classical Dance'. Both the guided viewing and the seminar were open to the public.
