| Custodial History | A project to remount part of this series of illustrations (EGM/3/2-6) was carried out during July – September 2023, as part of a wider project to remount the EGM/1 and EGM/2 series in advance of centenary anniversaries for the Winnie-the-Pooh books (2024-2028).
A conservator removed items from old mount board, minor conservation work was carried out, and items were remounted in museum grade board using conservation techniques. It was agreed with Harper Collins that some illustrations would be mounted to reveal the irregular shapes of the board the illustrations are on and publishing instructions, as this is a working publisher’s collection. Some items were rehoused in new polyester pockets. The project was funded by Harper Collins. |
