Two programmes for performances commencing 17th March for six nights. Performances of "Faust" on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Performances of "Carmen" on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Programmes include cast list, Madge Atkinson and Mollie Suffield listed as Principal Dancers. Programme involves The Manchester Beecham Chorus, The Halle Orchestra and Ballet by the Studio School of Dancing. Dances arranged by Miss Madge Atkinson and Miss Mollie Suffield, the Brocken Scene in Faust arranged by Miss Madge Atkinson. Programmes also include advertisements. Separate cast lists relate to this performance, and are listed by scene for each performance.

Two programmes for the dance matinee on October 22nd. Special Matinee with performances of The Brocken Scene; The Peer Gynt Suite and Mother Goose. The Halle Orchestra also feature in these performances.

The programmes contain a synopsis of the ballet booklet containing detailed synopses of the ballets. The Principal for The Brocken Scene is Madge Atkinson, the Principals in The Peer Gynt Suite are Madge Atkinson, Eric Newton, Stella Mary Pearce; Winifred Furniss and Ella Voysey. The Principals in Mother Goose are Madge Atkinson; Winifred Furniss; Mary Halkesworth; Valerie Pearson; Gwen Francis; Irene Stanley and Ella Voysey. Note on front of the booklet reads: 'the Management regret that they are compelled to omit Scene 1 and part of Scene 2 of "Mother Goose," owing to the difficulty of obtaining the Orchestrated Parts [sic] which are at present in Paris. The cast lists relating to these performances are structured by scene, some of which have handwritten adjustments/notes on them. The programmes also contain advertisements.

All programmes refer to Madge Atkinson's school as 'the Studio School of Dancing'.

Three booklets entitled 'The Operas and The Artistes' containing images and biographies of contributors to the festival, Madge Atkinson is featured on page 16. Also features a message from Queen Alexandra. The booklets include some annotations and advertisements. One of the booklets has Anita Heyworth's name on the front cover and is autographed inside by each photograph.
Two small fold-out flyers include a list of the repertoire, of the principals, price of admission, a ticket order form and a list of officials.

The envelope of notes by Madge Atkinson includes several cast lists relating to the above performances, rehearsal details and two letters to Madge Atkinson.
