| Description | Crinkled cotton leotard garments, described on the original box as 'all-in-alls'. Elasticated at the top (some of the elastic has wasted and is overstretched) the garments are strapless, with the exception of two of them which have thin ribbon or lace straps on each shoulder, they have no shape to them but the fabric is pleated and as such stretches easily. Each leg hole is elasticated, and they are short in the leg.
They have been dyed in a similar way to the dresses with a different colour at the top and blended down. The colours are:
Yellow - green
Yellow - lilac
Yellow - orange - dark orange
Light blue - green - violet
Purple - violet - blue
These garments were originally stored in knots (presumably to keep the twisted/crinkled appearance). One of them has been kept like this and the others rolled out. |
