| Description | Two pieces of ear/teardrop shaped pink chiffon painted with green, red, black and turquoise 'eyes' like those on a peacock. The edges are unhemmed and the fabric is very thin and light. At the bottom of each ear or teardrop is one side a popper fastening.
The neckpiece is made from the same pink chiffon fabric with a wire trim and wire seams to stiffen it. It is a ragged shape and has also been painted with green marks. It has four popper fastenings at the neck. Much of the chiffon has started to come away from the wire edging. It looks like the neckpiece fitted onto the back of the elf costume NM/S/28/1. |
